Our Phú Quốc Pepper is sourced from a small organic family farm located on the small Vietnamese island of Phú Quốc, located just off the southern tip of Cambodia, west of Kampot. The farm is run by Jenny Pham and her family, and is driven using simple methods with the goal of environmentally enhancing agriculture and the local economy.
Due to the island's climate, mineral-rich soil, abundant sunshine and proximity to the ocean, the pepper here closely rivals that grown in nearby Cambodia as some of the world's finest. Available in 2 & 4 ounce content weight.
Phú Quốc Black has an earthy flavor and aroma with a lot of heat. Because of this, the pepper complements a freshly grilled steak and salads quite nicely.
