Our Sompao Tong black pepper comes from Thailand's Chanthaburi province sourced by a small family-owned farm named Sompao Tong ('golden boat' in Thai).

Sompao Tong has been family owned for over 100 years. Every peppercorn is processed by hand, just like their family has done for ages.  They are strong proponents (and practitioners) of natural and organic farming methods. 

Our peppercorns are packaged in 4 oz certified--100% Biodegradable & Compostable packaging! That means you will be helping the environment by creating less waste! The bag includes a zipper that is also 100% Biodegradable & Compostable!

Chanthaburi Black Sompao Tong has a beautiful spicy-sweet balance, and its tangerine and brown sugar flavor tends to linger in the mouth.
